Alfred Hitchcock had us sitting on the edge of our seats for a 10 year span!
He would open each program and the camera would fade in on a simple line drawing of his silhouette with his theme song...Funeral March of a Marionette.
Then he would appear and simply say.....Good Evening.
It makes me shutter to this day!
From October 2, 1955 - June 26, 1965 a total of 360 programs were produced....
267 were half hour long shows and 93 were an hour.
Some have fallen into the public domain...
such as the one below.
