Binge Watch The Complete Show Free

Do you remember....
Leave It to Beaver?

If not...... it was American television situation comedy about an inquisitive and often naive boy named Theodore "The Beaver" Cleaver who was portrayed by Jerry Mathers. It followed  his adventures at home, in school, and around his suburban neighborhood.
The show also starred Barbara Billingsley and Hugh Beaumont as Beaver's parents,
June and Ward Cleaver, and Tony Dow as Beaver's brother Wally.
The show has attained an iconic status in the United States, with the Cleavers exemplifying the idealized suburban family of the mid-20th century.

The show aired from 1957 -1963 and I was right around the Beaver Clever age. I still have to laugh at the miss adventures he would get himself into.
In a typical episode Beaver got into some sort of trouble, then faced his parents for reprimand and correction.
However, neither parent was omniscient......... indeed, the series often showed the parents debating their approach to child rearing, and some episodes were built around parental gaffes.

The show was created by writers Joe Connelly and Bob Mosher.
Veterans of radio and early television.... they often found inspiration for the shows characters,
plots and dialogue in the lives, experiences and conversations of their.... very own children.
"Leave It to Beaver" is one of the first prime time sitcom series written from a child's point of view.

The complete....." Leave It To Beaver Series "is embedded just below.
Just keep watching.. one after the other.... and you could binge watch all the episodes!
I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

Will Rogers

Today is...............

William Penn Adair Rogers Birthday. He is 140 years old November 4, 2019
(4 November 1879 – 15 August 1935)

Will Rogers was beloved by all. If you Google his name be prepared to sift through
over about 395,000,000 or so hits.
A bit before my time I still knew of him as a child.
The reruns of him on early television still resonates within me  as I remember the cowboy, the lariat, and his home spun humor.

While researching I found that he was a Cherokee  citizen..... born in the Cherokee Nation, Indian Territory
Oklahoma
.
He was a radio personality, the nations most sought after public speaker, top box office draw,he wrote books, was a well read news paper columnist and much-much more!

Jessie Irene Noblitt. was born to an American father, James Merrit Noblitt, and an Irish immigrant mother, Katherine McSharry.

In 1962, Irene Ryan was cast as Daisy "Granny" Moses, the matriarch of the Clampett clan, in the CBS-TV comedy series.

When there were only 3 or 4 channels to choose from.... The Beverly Hillbillies was a smash hit and a favorite of mine.
The show aired from..... 1962-1971

In 1973 Irene "Granny" Ryan passed away.
She had no surviving relatives.... and with an estate worth over $1 million, she decided to start the Irene Ryan Acting Foundation providing annual scholarships for promising student actors to this very day.
