Do You Remember?

Super Circus aired live on Sunday afternoons from 5 to 6pm Eastern Time from 1949-1956 on ABC.

It was the closest you could get to being under the big top and if you are old enough to have seen a few of the live performances, you are indeed blessed. "Old and Young" are just words.

Thanks for following, "Yesterday Television."

Do You Remember This One?

Arrest & Trial was a 90-minute made in the USA crime/legal drama series that ran during the 1963-1964 season on ABC, airing. Sunday Nights from 8:30 To 10:00.

I remember absolutely nothing about this program.....
so I researched it a bit.

''Onward and Upward'' below is from the first season of....
 ''Arrest and Trial''
Starring Chuck Connors and Ben Gazzara.
Guest stars - William Shatner and Richard Carlson....
Was originally aired on 19 January 1964.

The majority of episodes consist of two segments....
Set in Los Angeles.
The first part...
"The Arrest"
Follows Detective Sergeants Nick Anderson (Ben Gazzara) and Dan Kirby (Roger Perry) of the LAPD as they tracked down and captured the criminal.

Then the apprehended suspect was defended in the second part....
"The Trial"
With criminal attorney John Egan (Chuck Connors), who was often up against Deputy District Attorney Jerry Miller (John Larch) and his assistant, Barry Pine (John Kerr)

Hey Poncho! Hey Cisco!

The cries, "Hey, Poncho! Hey, Cisco" are something that no one who grew up with TV western's, could ever get out of heads! This western, The Lone Ranger and a host of others, shaped young minds to believe in truth and justice; and are still so much fun to watch....to this day.

In "Yesterday Television" http://amzn.to/1enskIw Cowboys are somewhat outdated for most of the youth of today. But, not all....So return to yesteryear and view them just as your Grand Parents and Great Grand Parents...did. Enjoy the show!
