In My Merry Oldsmobile.............Lyrics of song: "Young Johnnie Steele has an Oldsmobile, He loves a dear little girl, She is the queen of his gas machine, she has his heart in a whirl. Now, When they go for a spin, you know, She tries to learn the auto, so He lets her steer while he gets her ear, And whispers soft and low; CHORUS Come away with me Lucille In my merry Oldsmobile, Down the road of life we'll fly Automo-bubbling you and I. To the church we'll swiftly seal, Then our wedding bells will peal, You can go as far as you like with me, In my merry Oldsmobile. (Repeat) They love to spark in the dark old park, As they go flying along, She says she knows why the motor goes; The sparker's awfully strong. Each day they spoon to the engine's tune, Their honeymoon will happen soon, He'll win Lucille with his Oldsmobile And then he'll fondly croon;

The Ultimate Collection
The Three Stooges have always been a favorite of mine. As a child in the 1950’s-1960's I watched and re-watched.....
when ever they were on.
The Stooges skits never grow old....
no mater how many times they are seen!
Later as an adult, it saddened me, as the Stooges were banned by alot of American networks. It’s funny how a few dumb kids....
could ruin it for so many.
Just because they saw it on TV and then hit their siblings in the head with a hammer, or ran a saw across some kids neck, was no reason to punish us all.
But, alas our three morons were pointed out as slapstick criminals, they were a bad influence on our youthful viewers.
I'm sure that today's youth would have enough smarts not to hurt one another. Alas, very few children today are exposed to the stooges antics and slapstick comedy. Here is the ultimate collection to binge watch!
Enjoy!

"I'm nuts and I know it," Red Skelton quipped, "But so long as I make 'em laugh, they ain't going to put me away."
As this hilarious compendium of out-takes from his television appearances proves, Red could be at his funniest when he departed....whether intentionally or not.....
from the script.

The Ed Sullivan Show A Really Big Shoe
Every Sunday night from June 20,1948 - June 6,1971 millions of viewers, would dial in
CBS to see what outrageous variety acts Ed would introduce.
It was the day of golden age television!
The Ed Sullivan show!
Many historic rock-n-roll and Motown super stars were showcased. The Beatles-Elvis Presley-The Doors-The Rolling Stones-The Jackson Five-Supremes & Temtations just to name a few!
Sullivan was a brilliant tracker and arranger of talent. A variety show always has variety,
but nothing was as eclectic as the programs that Sullivan put together, from puppet shows
to opera, the show had it all.
January 6, 1957, when Elvis Presley appeared on the program and the cameras shot him from the waist up because his gyrating hips were considered far too scandalous for family television.
On February 9, 1964, more than 70 million viewers tuned in to the show for the American TV debut of the Liverpool-based rock quartet....
“The Beatles.”

If "You" have one still in the box it will be worth a bit more now a days, than the original
purchase price.

I Remember...Do You?
Here is your chance to own that wacky Dinosaur show and laugh right out load at it all over again or enjoy it for the very first time.
It appeared April 26,1991 - October 19, 1994 on ......the ABC television net work.
It combined the talents of Jim Henson Productions and Disney Television.... and was distributed through
Buena Vista International.
Jim Henson came up with the idea for the story of sitcom about a Dinosaur family in 1988..... but it was shut down.....
as crazy idea.
Then with the success of "The Simpsons" the executive heads.....
took another look, at the concept.
Henson worked on the project until his death May 16, 1990...... but failed to live long enough to see its
debut.
