Classic Yesterday Television Sitcom

As a Amazon Humble Editor puts it........."When impoverished mountaineer Jed Clampett (Buddy Epsen) discovers a wealth of oil near his home, he becomes an instant millionaire and moves his family to a mansion in Beverly Hills.
Now, along with Granny (Irene Ryan) Elly May (Donna Douglas) and Jethro (Max Baer Jr.) they must navigate the social norms and eccentricities found in the land of swimmin' pools and movie stars."

The Beverly Hillbillies

The Beverly Hillbillies was originally broadcast on CBS for nine seasons..... from September 26, 1962, to March 23, 1971. It was a well loved program and always placed high in the Neilsen Ratings with in the top 20 for 8 of its 9 year 274 episode run.
Buddy Ebsen, Irene Ryan, Donna Douglas, Max Baer Jr, Raymond Bailey, Nancy Kulp, Bea Benaderet, Harriet E. MacGibbon and a host of others brought the show to life.
I among many others..... love it to this day.
It is still in syndication and seen on a daily basis around the world.
I grew up watching the reruns, as many of you did also.

The episode below has a copy right dispute with the opening song "The Ballad of Jed Clampett and it has been changed so it could be included in The Public Domain.

There is a very funny song after the opening, about those feuding and fighting Clampett and Drysdale kin folks, that is not in dispute.
It is very-very funny and makes one smile. I
hope you enjoy it.... as much as we do.
To me..... it brings back the simpler times of our lives.

                                Thanks for "LIKING" Yesterday Television!
