Shirley Temple

                                                    April 23, 1928 – February 10, 2014 



Miss Shirley Temple began her film career in 1932 at the age of three. This short entitled "Dora's Dunking Doughnuts" was filmed in 1933.

She retired from films in 1950 as her box-office popularity had waned as she reached adolescence.  She was  Hollywood's number-one box-office star, 4 years in a row, from 1935 through 1938.

She returned to show business in 1958 with a two-season television anthology series of fairy tale adaptations.

 Dinah Shore was born Frances Rose Shore.... February 29th 1916 . She passed away February 24th,1994.
Dinah was an American singer, actress, television personality, and the top-charting female vocalist of the 1940's.
She reached the height of her popularity as a recording artist during the Big Band era of the 1940's and 1950's.
But..... she achieved an even greater success a decade later, in television, mainly as hostess of a series of variety programs for Chevrolet.
Just everyone..... could sing the Chevrolet song!
