Thanks for looking in....The camera fades in on a simple line-drawing caricature of Alfred Hitchcock's rotund profile.
Time for The Sorcerers Apprentice has arrived...enjoy the show.

The Nelsons

The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet

One of the longest-running and most-loved family sitcoms.... of all time.
The Nelsons were a real-life family and starred Ozzie, his wife, singer Harriet, and their sons,
David and Eric "Ricky" Nelson.
Don DeFore had a recurring role as the Nelsons' friendly neighbor....
"Thorny".

Ozzie's insistence for perfection in the show's production paid off in the show's remarkable
popularity.
The show strove for realism and featured exterior shots of the Nelsons' actual southern California home at 1822 Camino Palmero Street in Los Angeles, California 90046

Ozzie has to decide whether to select Dave or Ricky for the.....
YMCA Father and Son table tennis tournament. Seems............. Thorny and son insist they will win.....
no mater what!

Pictured above is Frances R. Horwich

A grand lady she was...a wonderful teacher for........ "Ding Dong School."
Billed as "the nursery school of the air", it was a half-hour children's TV show which began  November 24,1952 and ended December 28,1956.

Before Mister Rogers Neighborhood, before there was a Sesame Street,  preschoolers had Miss Frances; to learn with.
She was the first to use the  talk to the audience method. She would even pause to let the child answer her.
More than once, she would be right on  the mark, with the conversation, second guessing a little ones answer.
Parents and Grandparents of the time adored her as did the children. The series is said to have garnered a 95 percent share of all preschoolers at the time.

Do you remember? Most reading this will say..NO.  Comment if your answer is yes or no.
